Once again I’m tredding,
On the familiar,
Yet now on the unfamiliar.
It’s all there though, I know
Just in different form, some things fell,
Some things rose and soared.
I know this place; it’s engraved in my memory forever.
All the laughter, all the mud
All the solitary tramps I had on the first snow,
We fished
The leaves out of the stream
We made tea,
From the ever shining spring sun.
I want to go, to run,
Oh yes, face the unfamiliar with me.
You can run head, just wait,
please wait for me to catch up.
I’ll always wait.
On the familiar,
Yet now on the unfamiliar.
It’s all there though, I know
Just in different form, some things fell,
Some things rose and soared.
I know this place; it’s engraved in my memory forever.
All the laughter, all the mud
All the solitary tramps I had on the first snow,
We fished
The leaves out of the stream
We made tea,
From the ever shining spring sun.
I want to go, to run,
Oh yes, face the unfamiliar with me.
You can run head, just wait,
please wait for me to catch up.
I’ll always wait.
